24 x 24 on 1 inch Traditional stretched canvas using Acrylic paints. This was actually one of my earlier pieces that pushed me to stick to this new found hobby. Still stands as one of my favorites.
Can you please explain what motivated you to do such paintings. What your thoughts were that particular day. What you ate for breakfast. You know the story within the painting. I think we are entitled to that as viewers.
You sold me a similar painting 2 years ago and told me you called it "Jesus Saves." You told the red cross on the right side represented Christ and the blue on the left represented his assent into heaven. You told me I'd be saved. WTF?
Silvy- Many times motivation cant be expressed in words, especially in freeflowing abstract works. It tends to just flow out in the work its self, as it did in this case. One of the great things about art, is that it isnt what the artist meant for it to be, or what his thoughts were during the process, but what you as the viewer take away from it. Its about what thoughts and emotions it provokes within you.
